The Routt County Foundation for Senior Citizens, Inc. was formed in 1964 as a nonprofit organization to provide low to moderate priced rental housing and related facilities and services for senior citizens.Their goal was the construction of apartments that would enable senior citizens to maintain their independence and live out their lives in the community in which they had spent most of their working days and where their roots are deepest. Their goal also included the creation of an environment of security, safety, and convenience, in addition to pleasant surroundings to enhance the quality of life for the qualified residents.
